Remember human connection?
That closeness we were able to have with people pre-pandemic?
The hugs; the talks; the laughs. Out on the porch. In a restaurant. On a walk.
I have missed that so terribly.
One of the greatest things that happened this month was that I was able to see some friends. I was able to reconnect and spend time with them. We were even able to celebrate together.
That’s one of the gifts this vaccine has given me. It’s allowed me to be with my people again, and that’s pretty priceless.
